These are difficult times for everyone, covid is affecting every aspect of our lives.

There is a lot of media speculation that the UK Government financial assistance packages have been rorted by many unscrupulous businesses and people.

Let the digger do it would like to state for the record that it has not received any financial assistance of any kind from the UK government or any other source.

No bounce back loans, no grants, no one has been receiving furlough payments – nothing.

We are doing it tough, but we are coping, there are plenty of businesses worse off than us that need help more than we do.

We live in a world of fake news, we wanted to ensure the record was clear in regards to our accepting government assistance or not.

We have not, we have no plans to, and if in the future we ever do require government funds we will update this post and say so.

Life’s tough, we are doing our bit as best we can.
